Senior Account Executive

This ad network client is a targeting platform that automatically blends contextual, audience, behavioral and additional custom targeting methods to achieve an advertiser's performance goals using their choice of CPM, CPC, and CPA pricing. Leading ad agencies and advertisers are using our client's technology because they truly deliver the best combination of performance, control and insight compared to traditional ad networks and manual exchanges. They have created a marketplace for online advertising that employs the power of optimization and automatic targeting with goal-driven pricing to deliver ROI for advertisers, increased revenue for publishers and relevance for consumers. 

We are assisting our client with a search for a seasoned Online Senior Account Executive. This position is based in Chicago.

Responsibilities

• Successfully identify and close new client opportunities and up sell existing clients
• Leverage existing Rolodex and open new accounts - direct advertisers and digital ad agencies
• Highly motivated to initiate and manage new partnerships that will grow revenues
• Selling behavioral targeting, goal seeking technology and pixel placements
• Work with internal account management and ad operations to ensure client satisfaction
• Participate in industry events and conferences
• Track and manage sales pipeline and account activities

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE - at least 2 years experience as a successful sales professional within online advertising, selling ad network or behavioral offerings to agencies and direct advertisers
• MUST HAVE - experience previously managing multi-million dollar budgets from leading Internet advertisers
• Understand the intricacies of negotiating on selling reach and frequency basis as well as ROI direct response
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable focusing on creating relationships with numerous agencies and direct advertisers across multiple verticals
• Proven track record of exceeding sales goals and objectives
• BS Degree is preferred
