We are looking for a Managing Director of Online Advertising Sales to work out of the Los Angeles office who has an established book of agency and/or advertiser contacts and a proven track record managing successful online media sales teams. This position will report directly to the VP of West Coast Sales.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Los Angeles Sales office
- Manage a team of sales directors and sales executives
- Attain a quota and ensure team success
- Establish and nurture relationships with direct advertisers and agencies
- Listen to potential clients to understand their objectives and formulate intelligent and relevant proposals
- Leverage existing relationships to maximizing revenue with current accounts
- Network at industry events, entertain clients
- Develop relationships and generate business with key advertising agencies and Fortune 500 accounts.
Requirements
- MUST HAVE - at least 10 years of total advertising sales/buying experience
- MUST HAVE - at least 5 years of online advertising experience and strong knowledge of ad networks
- MUST HAVE - at least 3 years of management experience and solid leadership skills to train a team
- MUST HAVE - strong verbal, written, organizational and presentation skills
- MUST HAVE - a robust rolodex of digital advertising agency contacts
- MUST HAVE - BS Degree / MBA is preferred
