We are looking for an Account Manager to work out of the New York office who has a proven track record with managing client relationships and helping drive performance to achieve their ROI goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage contract renewals, renegotiations and cultivate relationships at all levels of the customer's organization.
- Creative set up and trafficking of new ad campaigns.
- Participate in 'kick-off' meetings for new accounts and ensure a smooth transition of new accounts from Sales to Account Management.
- Initiate, execute and optimize all client campaigns.
- Effectively manage active campaigns for advertisers to meet advertiser performance goals while maximizing profitability.
- Proactively explore new and interesting ways of analyzing campaign data to present to clients.
- Seek out, identify and act on cross-selling and up-selling opportunities on a regular basis.
- Provide media buying and targeting recommendations based on campaign executions.
- Help create, deliver and articulate campaign overview analysis.
- Troubleshoot and solve any and all issues with ad delivery such as technical issues with third party vendors, or operations challenges such as relationships with publisher partners.
Qualifications
- MUST HAVE - at least 2 years experience in Ad Ops and Campaign Management at an advertising technology company, major portal or display ad network.
- Experience in building and managing online marketing campaigns for large Fortune 500 advertiser and their respective agencies.
- Understanding of optimization and creative testing methodologies.
- Proactive, energetic, leader that can thrive in an entrepreneurial setting.
- Highly analytical, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple clients, tasks and responsibilities concurrently.
- Knowledge of ad serving technologies and/or media planning are ideal but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience utilizing and maintaining salesforce.com is a plus.
- MUST HAVE - Bachelors degree
