Jeff Kuntz

Originally from Philadelphia, Jeff was raised in Northern New Jersey with his brother and two sisters. After he received his Bachelors degree in Finance from the University of Maryland at College Park, Jeff fulfilled a childhood dream and spent a year surfing, fishing and working on boats in Hawaii. Family has always been a priority for Jeff and his wife Ania. When not attending the birthday party of a niece or nephew or other family gathering, they can be found on the beaches of Long Island or at the Jersey Shore playing volleyball and enjoying time with friends.

With no prior digital media experience, Jeff began his career as an Account Executive at About.com in 1999. Ranked as one of the top three salespeople (out of nearly 100) Jeff was quickly promoted to Sales Director and managed a team which covered agencies and clients in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and the entire Southeast.

Looking for a new challenge in the fall of 2001, Jeff joined a start-up agency, Intercept Interactive, as the second employee. He was instrumental in the development, success and growth of the company’s online advertising agency business. Recognized for his entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic, Jeff co-led the effort to launch Intercept’s ad network, Undertone Networks. As Vice President of Media and Distribution for both businesses, he built the infrastructure for the media department; initiating relationships with more than 500 premium publishers while guiding media buying, direction, strategy and execution.

Building upon his start-up business experience and achieving his goal of becoming a successful entrepreneur, Jeff left Intercept/Undertone in 2005 and founded Real Estate Media Network (REMN), the first and only niche display ad network for the real estate industry. In less than one year, Jeff built a profitable business which was acquired by MediaWhiz Holdings, LLC. As part of the transaction, Jeff was retained to design, build and manage adNet, MediaWhiz’s display ad network which he successfully built into a multi-million-dollar annual business.

Throughout Jeff’s career in online advertising as a salesperson, media buyer, executive and entrepreneur, he has demonstrated a natural ability to identify and develop top talent. Whether successfully mentoring those working for him or advising colleagues and friends how to best achieve their career goals, Jeff understands the unique dynamics of digital media and how to best position individuals for long-term success. Having built, trained and managed sales teams, media buying groups and operations divisions, Jeff is uniquely qualified to assist all types of people in the industry with their career development needs.

Scott Berkson
Managing Partner, Founder

Scott, a native New Yorker, was raised on Long Island but has spent the past 12 years living in Manhattan. He has traveled to almost 30 countries to experience other cultures and to better understand the world in which we all live. In his free time, when not in search of fresh powder on his snowboard, he enjoys digital photography and discovering new music. Scott attended the State University of New York, College at Oneonta, and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Economics. Shortly thereafter, he completed an Associates degree to become a New York State licensed Optician.

After receiving his license as a New York State Optician, Scott worked for a private Optometrist in lower Manhattan and partnered with him on an entrepreneurial venture called NYC Desk Specs. In 1997, Scott foresaw a transformative shift in the optical industry as it was beginning to be dominated by large insurance companies. Scott decided to leave the optical industry in early 1998 and began his career in recruiting as a Sales Manager, and first employee, for the start-up recruiting firm Millennium Concepts, Inc. In ten months Scott generated a half-million dollars in gross revenue and was instrumental in the success of the business.

In late 1998, Scott founded Business Technology People, Inc. (BTP), an information technology recruiting business geared towards companies and business professionals which implemented business process automation software. In only six months the company generated profits and had established itself as a leader in providing recruiting and staffing services to the healthcare information technology industry. Scott later self-funded his vision for BTP which was to create a virtual recruiting business by leveraging a web-based sales force application and tailoring it for the recruiting industry.

Realizing the benefits of working both on the client and agency sides of the recruiting industry, Scott launched in 2005, SDB Consulting, LLC, a hybrid recruiting and consulting business. Retained as a full-time consultant, Scott spearheaded several initiatives in HR Global Sourcing for Perot Systems and First Consulting Group to help improve their hiring processes. In this role, he implemented recruitment, interview and tracking procedures while successfully hiring strategic talent, allowing his clients to gain a competitive edge in today's information technology job market. At the same time, SDB Consulting served as a recruiting agency to clients outside of the healthcare technology industry, most notably Citigroup, on successful contingency searches.

Having first-hand experience with career change and entrepreneurial success, Scott takes a holistic approach when advising candidates on how best to achieve their long-term career goals. Whether rebuilding a resume, thoroughly prepping a candidate for an interview or envisioning a person’s career path, Scott has been successful in helping individuals to find their ideal positions or to identify road-maps that lead to their future success.

Adam Glantz
Managing Partner, Founder

Adam grew up in the small suburban town of Jericho, New York. Looking to follow in his older brothers footsteps, he attended the University of Michigan, earning a Bachelor's degree in Economics with a concentration in Communications. Upon graduation, Adam wrote and distributed a weekly newsletter entitled "Thursday Thoughts" which quickly gained a national following by providing unique perspective and insight into the everyday lives of twentysomethings.

Adam began his career in interactive marketing at digital@jwt, the interactive group of J.Walter Thompson, as one of the first members of its media department.  In 2000, Adam joined Beyond Interactive where he oversaw several client accounts including leading the media planning and buying team for Cendant's Cheap Tickets brand. While there, Adam was recognized as a 'Media Star on the Rise'  in 2002 by Media Magazine.

Looking to gain insight into other aspects of the digital media world and test his entrepreneurial skills, Adam began working with the product development team at Traffic Marketplace, a leading ad network. After moving out to Los Angeles to work closer with fellow developers, Adam created and developed new products and solutions for TMP while enhancing the company's proprietary ad server. Having intimate knowledge of TMP's internal systems and ongoing client demands, he managed the ad network's operations and strategic business partnerships.

In 2006, in an effort to further build upon his industry and network experience, Adam joined forces with Jeff Kuntz to launch adNet, a subsidiary of MediaWhiz, where he helped to guide the creation of adNet's product offering and infrastructure while managing the ad network's operations.

Adam's extensive experience at several ad agencies and integrated online marketing companies has provided him with unique exposure to the many fragmented sectors within the digital media landscape. Through articles published in industry trades, research webinars and consulting assignments, Adam continues to share his expertise and vision.
